Our Founder and CEO, Jamie Hosking, began working as an Apprentice Butcher when he was just 15 years old. Through many years of consistent effort he managed to learn as much as he could about the successful daily operation of Butcher Shops and the Wholesale Meat Distribution industry as a whole. So when he saw a gap in the marketplace, he jumped at the opportunity to start his own business and the rest was history.  Although it started slowly at first, the business inevitably gathered momentum and grew to become one of the most trusted names in the Meat Industry.  With a foundation built on hard work, honesty and sweat equity... Green Pasture Meats is now well-positioned for continued growth and success for many years to come. Having served a diverse group of customers ranging from quality Butcher Shops, Food Manufacturers, Food Service Companies and a number of reputable dining establishments, Green Pasture Meats has experienced a steady rate of growth which led to the acquisition of a Warehouse / Office facility (located in Greenacre, NSW) back in 2011. A few years later, Jamie acquired another (larger) facility in South Strathfield, NSW where the Head Office is currently based. The Green Pasture TEAM boasts a combined knowledge and experience of more than 60+ years.
